Perfect Location, perfect stay!
I had a great stay at Paul’s place. I was one of his first guests and ended up staying 4 months (extended after month three), which says a lot. I felt at home right away. The guesthouse is clean, nicely decorated, and in like-new condition. The queen bed is incredibly comfortable with high-quality bedding—some of the best sleep I’ve had while traveling. Blackout curtains were a great bonus! The location is super convenient, right off I-5 between Bellingham and Burlington, yet still quiet and private. The area was perfect for biking and having a shed for my bike helped too. Paul is easygoing, responsive, and gives you privacy while being available if needed. The main house is nearby but it still feels private. Also, his goofy Doberman, Koosh, may stop by to say hi (and charm you for treats). He and my mini beagle got along great. I’d definitely stay again—comfortable, safe, and low-key.
