Room 1 - The Green Room

A home away from home

I stayed in the yellow room for a month during my clinical rotation at IU. It was a very pleasant stay. Mr. Tate & Bernice are the sweetest landlords. They were always there to help me whenever I needed them. Loaded with all the supplies you'd need. Kitchen is well equipped. I ended up cooking all my meals. The bedroom had plenty of storage options & the bed was very comfy with an attached bathroom. If I ever visit Indy again, I'm definitely staying here again. I'll miss it terribly.

Month Long Stay

I really enjoyed staying here! The room was spacious and comfortable, and I shared it with a family member without ever feeling cramped. We had plenty of space for both of us, including enough room for all of our luggage and our own personal space. The common areas were also a great addition to the room. We really enjoyed having access to the living room, dining area, kitchen, and the patio. It made the stay feel much more like a home than just a place to sleep. One of my favorite little things was sitting out on the patio and enjoying the rain. I especially think this is a great option for medical students coming to Indy for rotations at IU. The location was very convenient, with about a 20-minute bus ride or a 7-minute Uber to the hospitals downtown. The owners, Doug and Bernice were super sweet, understanding and accommodating too. Overall, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it!
