My neighborhood is extremely quiet and removed from the main artery. There is virtually no noise. I often sleep with the windows open, weather permitting. At night we can hear owls calling and sometimes coyotes in the distance. Its not quite bucolic but it is very peaceful and safe. Six blocks away there is the Metro bus stop.
