Incredible Home and Incredible Host

Teri was the most welcoming host I've ever had. I've been traveling for work for a few years now, and no stay has come close to this one. The house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and it was the perfect home base for my month in the Twin Cities. I'll admit I hesitated to book at first because of the one negative review. Teri walked me through what actually happened, and that guest's behavior was honestly outrageous. Having stayed here myself, I can say that review is nowhere near the truth, so please don't let it scare you off this incredible property. I brought my dog Holly, and she was spoiled from day one. Teri welcomed her with dog ice cream, and Holly spent most of her time loving the backyard and the back porch. If you need a place in the Twin Cities, you won't find a better one than this.

Pleasant and convenient location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over the summer of 2026. We found the location to be very convenient to restaurants, recreational opportunities, shopping, and to our family, - which is located both in the western suburbs and Minneapolis. Everything was as described and the photographs give a very accurate idea of what to expect. We found the appliances, which were a mixture of brand new (such as a microwave and convection oven) and slightly older, to all working and the kitchen well stocked. The provided printer proved to be very useful as we needed to print several travel related documents. We also found our interaction with the landlord to be timely, pleasant, and very professional. All billing and the signing of the lease went smoothly. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to walk, and we had no issues with our parking on the premises or with the neighbors.

Do not recommend

I rented this property because my mother was in hospice and I knew I would need to stay the month to care for her and plan her funeral with my family. Owner was aware of this. She told me it was 1st time she had rented the property + asked for understanding. That seemed fine - until I got there. Never received signed lease, would show up unannounced, is in ongoing dispute w/neighbor next door, has neighbor across the street watching house, gave my phone # to people w/out asking. Had to accept deliveries, packages. Completely intrusive experience. Home is cluttered with personal items and needs serious attention. Appliances 20+ years old and in poor working condition. Owner wants you to care for her plants and acts as if she still lives there. Location requires a car. If you want privacy and easy access to amenities, look elsewhere.
