Step 1: Add Your Contact Info
Start by accessing your dashboard and entering your contact information. Give your property a custom name and choose whether to display your phone number. Travelers often prefer texting or calling directly, so we highly recommend making your number visible to maximize leads.
Step 2: Pinpoint Your Property Location
Your address is automatically locked in for accuracy, but you can enhance your listing by adding nearby attractions like hospitals or downtown areas. This boosts visibility on the map and helps tenants understand your property's surroundings.
Step 3: Fill in Key Property Details
List how many bedrooms and bathrooms are available, what the monthly rent is, and any additional fees like deposits, cleaning, or pet fees. Step 4: Highlight Amenities That Matter
Amenities such as Wi-Fi, parking, and laundry options make a big difference for traveling professionals. Take your time to write a thoughtful property description and mention what makes your space and neighborhood stand out.
Step 5: Upload Your Property Photos
Photos are one of the most important parts of your listing. You need at least two, but we recommend uploading several high-quality shots of both the interior and exterior. Use the star icon to select the photo that shows up in search results.
Step 6: Set Up Your Calendar
An accurate calendar is essential to get matched with tenants. Enter your availability and minimum length of stay. If you're also using Airbnb or VRBO, link your calendars to keep everything in sync.
Step 7: Turn On Notifications
Make sure you never miss a lead by turning on traveler alerts and customizing your match criteria. You can choose how and when you're notified, so you're always in the loop.
Step 8: Complete Verification
Furnished Finder uses Jumio to verify landlord identity for marketplace security. You’ll be prompted to upload a government-issued ID and take a quick selfie to complete the process.
Step 9: Go Live and Set House Rules
Once your listing is complete, it’s time to go live. You’ll receive a link to share your listing and can use the “House Rules” wizard to create a PDF with move-in expectations for your tenants.
