We’ve heard from travelers whose stories we think about long after the conversation ends.
People who used a furnished stay to explore a new city before committing to a neighborhood, getting to know a place on their own terms before putting down roots. Others who needed somewhere comfortable and private to land during one of life’s harder transitions, a place that felt like theirs even when everything else felt uncertain. Travelers who’ve spent years moving from city to city, not because they had to but because they wanted to, building a life that doesn’t look like anyone else’s. And families who found a way to spend a whole season together in a new place, close enough to really be there, without giving up the space that makes that sustainable.
But we’ve also heard quieter stories. A stay that was just easier than expected. A landlord who made a stressful relocation feel a little less so. A place that checked every box when nothing else came close.
Those stories matter just as much.
What Furnished Finder has made possible looks different for every traveler. We’re not looking for the most extraordinary story. We’re looking for the most honest one.

How it will work
1. Share your story (opens in new tab). Write about what Furnished Finder has made possible for you. There’s no minimum length and no formula to follow. Tell it the way you’d tell it to a friend. Photos are welcome if you have them, but not required.
2. A panel will review every entry. Our team will read every submission. Entries will be judged on three things: how authentic the story feels, how much it resonates, and whether it’s something that could inspire another traveler who’s figuring out their next move. There are no wrong answers here, only honest ones.
3. Winners will be announced July 14. Five travelers will be selected as Made Possible spotlight winners and notified by email.
The prize
Five traveler winners will each receive $500.
Beyond the prize, spotlight winners will have their story featured on the Furnished Finder blog, shared across our social channels, and included in marketing content seen by hundreds of thousands of landlords and travelers. Your story won’t just be heard. It’ll reach the next person who needs to hear it.

Who should enter
Any current or past Furnished Finder traveler who has booked a furnished stay is welcome to enter. One entry per person.
