    Of course! An annual subscription on Furnished Finder allows you to rent out the whole home, or just a room within it. Many landlords rent a single room or portion of their home on our platform. When you list your property online, just be sure to indicate it’s a private room vs. the whole home to set expectations with potential tenants.

  • I’m new to renting. How does payment work, and how do I screen potential tenants?

    We’ve got you covered! Our sister site, KeyCheck by Furnished Finder, offers a full toolkit of landlord tools including tenant screenings, state-specific custom lease templates, and online rent payment tools to help. On Furnished Finder, travelers arrange payment directly with the landlords. This direct approach allows both parties to agree on the most convenient payment method.

  • How much does it cost?

    We charge an annual subscription fee of $179 to list your property. We do not charge any additional booking fees or commissions on top of that. Your annual fee unlocks unlimited tenant leads and bookings for the full year!

  • What are the best practices for setting competitive pricing for my listing?

    We recommend researching comparable properties in your area on our map to understand your market’s rates. You’ll want to determine if you’ll include the cost of utilities in your rent, charge additional pet fees, and consider

    Pro tip: Does your market have a low season? Consider seasonal demand and local events that might allow for pricing adjustments to help fill your calendar all year.

  • How does the booking process work on Furnished Finder?

    Travelers browse listings in the city they’re traveling to and will send booking requests directly through our online listings. As the landlord, you’ll receive the booking request as a notification in your Dashboard and via email. We don’t offer instant booking because we want our landlords to be in control of who stays at their property every time. It’s up to you to determine if each tenant is the right fit for your rental and confirm each booking.

    When you receive a booking request, review the booking request details and respond directly to the potential tenant however you prefer to further vet them. We give you all the contact information for the traveler up front so you can decide how best to respond – via email, text or phone call.

    We highly recommend performing a tenant screening on ALL potential renters, regardless of their profession.
